Whether you’re preparing for a high-stakes presentation, keynote speech, board meeting, sales pitch, media appearance, job interview, important negotiation, or performance in front of an audience, Luma Theta uses clinical hypnotherapy to help support public speaking confidence, executive presence, performance under pressure, and high-performance mindset. By working with the subconscious, emotional, and nervous system patterns that influence how you respond when the stakes are high, hypnotherapy may help you reduce performance anxiety, quiet self-doubt, think more clearly, communicate more effectively, and perform with greater confidence when it matters most.
You may know your material—and still feel like your body is working against you the moment it’s time to perform.
Maybe you feel confident while preparing, practicing, or speaking one-on-one. But put a microphone in front of you, ask you to stand in front of a room, walk onto a stage, lead an important meeting, pitch a major client, deliver a keynote, negotiate a high-value deal, or make you the center of attention, and suddenly everything changes.
Your heart starts racing. Your hands shake. Your voice feels different. Your mind goes blank.
You may become hyperaware of every word, every facial expression, and every mistake you think you’re making. You may rush through what you wanted to say, overthink your delivery, avoid eye contact, speak too quickly, lose your train of thought, or walk away replaying everything you wish you had done differently.
And the frustrating part is that you may be genuinely capable.
Public speaking anxiety and performance anxiety aren’t always about a lack of ability. Sometimes, your mind and body have simply learned that being watched, evaluated, challenged, or put on the spot is something to prepare for.
For others, the issue isn’t fear.
You may already be successful—and simply know you are capable of performing at a higher level.
Maybe you are an executive who wants greater executive presence. An entrepreneur who wants to become a more compelling communicator. A physician, attorney, sales professional, business owner, or leader who wants to remain sharper and more confident under pressure.
You may be looking for ways to improve your leadership presence, presentation skills, communication skills, confidence, focus, persuasion, influence, mental performance, or ability to perform in high-stakes situations.
You may not be searching for help because you can’t perform.
You may be searching because you want to perform at your absolute best.
At Luma Theta, we work with the emotional, subconscious, and body-based patterns that can influence public speaking confidence, executive performance, leadership presence, presentation skills, sales performance, stage performance, and the ability to stay focused under pressure.
When the stakes are high, your nervous system can influence what you have access to in the moment.
You may know exactly what you want to say and suddenly lose access to it.
You may have years of experience and still feel less confident in front of a room than you do in everyday conversation.
You may have the intelligence, knowledge, and ability to perform at a high level—but find that your internal state doesn’t always match your actual capability.
That gap matters.
Your performance isn’t determined only by what you know.
It is also influenced by what your mind and body do when it is time to access what you know.
Through deep, theta-based hypnotherapy, we can help you mentally rehearse future situations while creating and reinforcing the emotional and physical responses you want to have when the moment actually arrives.
This can include preparing for:
Through neurosomatic reinforcement, your body can begin practicing what it feels like to perform with greater calm, clarity, focus, confidence, and control.
To stand in front of an audience and remain grounded.
To feel adrenaline without automatically interpreting it as panic.
To think clearly while all eyes are on you.
To recover quickly if you lose your train of thought instead of spiraling.
To communicate with authority without feeling like you need to prove yourself.
To stay present enough to read the room, connect with your audience, and respond intelligently in the moment.
Imagine walking into a presentation knowing you don’t have to fight your nerves.
Imagine speaking with the confidence you know you have when you’re not under pressure.
Imagine being able to access your experience, intelligence, and personality when the stakes are highest.
Imagine walking into a room and being fully present rather than preoccupied with how you are being perceived.
For high-performing professionals, the goal may go even further.
Imagine becoming more persuasive without feeling manipulative. More confident without becoming arrogant. More focused when pressure increases. More capable of thinking strategically when others become overwhelmed.
Imagine being able to walk into an important meeting, negotiation, presentation, or opportunity and know that your internal state is no longer limiting your ability to perform.
The goal isn’t to eliminate every ounce of nervousness.
It’s to help your mind and body learn how to access your highest level of performance when it matters most.
And sometimes, the greatest performance advantage isn’t learning something new.
It’s learning how to consistently access the ability you already have.
Depending on your personal preference, learning style, and the longevity and complexity of the pattern you’re working to change, Luma Theta offers two primary tracks for creating change:
Rapid Rewire Changework uses 1–3 deep, extended sessions designed to help create meaningful change quickly by working intensively with the underlying patterns connected to the issue.
The Reteaching Method uses approximately 3–8 shorter sessions for each desired change, allowing us to repeatedly introduce, practice, reinforce, and build on new emotional and somatic responses over time.
You can learn more about what these approaches look like and decide which may be the better fit for you on our About Our Sessions page.
